There are some fantastic deals right now if you plan to do any traveling, since the economy in the doldrums!
Recently, I took a trip to Chicago and needed a rental car while I was there. I found a fabulous deal at Enterprise Rent a Car through Hotwire.com for a midsized car at only $ 19 per day!
When I arrived at O’Hare Airport, I was given a BRAND NEW Chevy Malibu–with only 11 miles on it! It worked like a charm and even better- it smelled like a new car!
I was driving in luxury while still being frugal!

Another great Hotwire saving story- My boyfriend and I decided to get away for the long weekend yesterday; I went on Hotwire and found a great deal on 2 rooms ($74 each) at nice Hilton with spa! We are leaving this afternoon and coming back Monday. We will take our own food, so with a trip in to the city (with a stop at the spa), hotel, food and gas we will have a mini-vacation for less than $550.
I also called the hotel and they were so nice, the put my boyfriend and my rooms right across the hall from each other.
